Small Costs.

Big Advice.

Advice is the cornerstone of your financial plan

What are the benefits of working with an Advisor?

Why can’t I get to my goals myself with a variety of different offerings from various companies?

These are fair questions to which you need answers to ensure you’re comfortable making a decision on how your financial future is managed.

We believe that growing, protecting, and transferring your wealth requires a good plan suited to your needs, goals, aspirations, circumstances, lifestyle, and life stages. Perhaps most importantly, an expert consultant whose focus is to get you to your goal by keeping you accountable.

At IPC, with that core belief, we help you:

• Map and execute a financial plan to meet your current needs and future aspirations.

• Evaluate, create, and implement solutions for your future (like financially preparing for your children’s education, the purchase of a new or second home, or, your retirement).

• Review, revise and readjust your plan throughout its lifecycle.

• Provide advice on the financial decisions you need to make to better manage your investment portfolio, debt, and cash flow levels.

• Plan, strategize and execute a viable solution for the transfer of your wealth and assets to reduce or defer taxes.

Supporting the community

Optimist International (OI) is an outstanding social innovator, passionate about optimism and the support of youth.

Throughout its 100 years of history, OI has not strayed from helping youth and evolving its service projects to best help youth who are not able to help themselves. From around the world, Optimists share a sense of conviction about promoting optimism and helping youth.

The Piper Creek Optimist Club is a community club under OI dedicated to raising money to serve Red Deer and area youth where Ryan has served as President, Secretary, Director and Chaired a number of fundraising events and supported programs, being awarded Optimist of the Year and Presidents Choice award along the way.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Junior Achievement Southern Alberta, reaches over 30,000 students per year. This is all possible through a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers who work together to inspire young people to reach their dreams and tap into their potential. Our approach allows volunteers to deliver our curriculum-based programs while sharing their own experiences and knowledge. The value is in the ‘real world’ perspective.

Mission: To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Vision: Be the partner of choice for business, education and policy makers around the globe seeking to expand youth education and economic development.

Parker has been a career mentor in the World of Choices program and enjoys the interaction and guidance provided for teenagers about to make the first step on their career path.

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta is the self regulatory body for P. Eng. and P. Geo’s in Alberta.  As a Professional Engineer, Parker is still involved in APEGA in Central Alberta, including their annual APEGA Science Olympics.

The APEGA Science Olympics are interactive, inter-school, engineering and geoscience events for students in Grades 1 to 12 that take learning beyond the classroom. Students are given a series of problem-solving challenges that demonstrate the fun side of engineering and geoscience, and allow students to see first-hand how these fields impact our everyday lives.

Students cover many areas of scientific study, while learning to work and interact within a group. They use their skills and innovative ideas to develop creative solutions to various challenges. All challenges at these events are related to Alberta school curricula, and have been developed by work groups comprising APEGA Professional Engineers and Professional Geoscientists, and local teachers.

At IPC, we built IPC Cares to bring together the various efforts we make towards enhancing the communities within which we operate. By adopting causes that are close to our hearts, we keep ourselves committed and accountable.

Last year alone, as a company, we supported the aid efforts on the Fort McMurray fires, palliative care through The Healing Cycle Foundation and women and children through The Salvation Army.

Perhaps the most significant effort we undertake, and one that we believe is representative of the kind of work that inspires and keeps us committed to our Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) efforts, is the community development project in Honduras with The Carpenteros & Friends. Last year’s project involved a group of IPC staff and Advisors volunteering their time and energy on the ground. Very little is as inspiring and rewarding as living the lives of the people you’re helping, and every one of the people who took the journey came back a changed person, even more determined to stay committed to making a difference in the world!

We also made countless small but significant contributions of our time and resources within our communities through many grassroots charities we believe in, and the ripple effects of their efforts are always rewarding.
