As Associate Portfolio Manager for IPC Private Wealth, Alex works primarily with high net worth individuals under the Program. He creates customized investment strategies for each investor in the Program and manages all client relationships. His role includes conducting analytical research, assessing client risk profiles and executing trades on behalf of investors. Alex works closely with the IPC Private Wealth Portfolio Manager and independent investment specialists who provide advice for the Program in order to manage client accounts.

Alex has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has held numerous positions throughout his career including roles as an Investment Counselor, Associate Portfolio Manager and Private Wealth Consultant with three major Canadian banks and an independent investment dealer. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from York University. Alex is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a Certified Financial Planner.

Peggy Sheppard

Peggy Sheppard - AMP, EPC

Peggy joined Investment Planning Counsel in 2000, as a licensed assistant.

Peggy's strong banking background led her to join the newly formed IPC Save Inc., a division of IPC, in 2002. Peggy has her over 17 years experience in the financial products and debt management industry.

Previously, Peggy worked for such financial firms as TD Canada Trust, Stirling Trust, and AFP Wealth Management. Peggy is one of the founding members of the Canadian Accredited Mortgage Professional designation and is fully licensed in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario (Lic.# 10227).
